Visual guide to cellular structures in metal AM

Picture

Metallic cellular structures form a new class of material that combines useful mechanical properties of metals with smart geometrical orientations. They provide greater stiffness, strength-to-weight ratio and good energy absorption. This post is a visual introductory summary of the three main cellular structures and some of their characteristics.
